You're an Animal.

I love leopard print. Not in the Bet Lynch kind of way. I would say it was more of a subtle yet wonderful love. Aren't they the best kinds...

While browsing ASOS on my lunch break I came across these little beauties and knew I had to get them. At £20 it would be rude not too really. They are sensible and affordable. And hurt like nothing on earth the first few wears but that is void information. This top, also an ASOS buy, is super unflattering think maternity meets Christmas extra weight hider but I love it. Definitely not the best cut for the booby, small waist and larger bums of this world - that's me - but it's too comfortable not to wear.

Baby Pink Biker.

After picking up my little beauty of a biker jacket from Zara the other week I have been throwing it on over different bits and pieces. On Sunday I decided to chuck it on over my H&M daisy print tea dress and chuck on my chunky heeled boots. Simple but still more exciting than jeans and a tee. Although I do love jeans and a tee. Who doesn't?! The jacket speaks for itself really. Baby pink isn't hard to avoid. Especially when it comes in the form of a beautiful biker jacket. I actually really like the contrast between the hard biker jacket and the baby pink colour. Nice touch. Also the baby pink really sets off the dress.

Fashion / Stripes

Another outfit post. I think I've got back into the swing of outfit posts once more. This time, a simple Sunday outfit. I will say before I went out I switched out my H&M pointed toe shoes for my New Look boots - featured here - as the weather was miserable. Wet feet are never fun. I love breton striped tees and am seeking a red and whtie striped one. Oo La La! Worn with black H&M jeans that have sadly gone baggy at the knee so I won't be buying these again... Chuck in an Oasis leather jacket and a Topshop doctors bag from many moons ago and we are set.

If you haven't already, why not go check out erratic glamour on YouTube!

F A S H I O N / OUTFIT

H&M Jumper similar here / Topshop Skirt Similar here / Oasis Leather Jacket similar here / Mango Bag / New Look Boots

An outfit post, haven't done one of these in a long time. For whatever reason I just stopped doing them but I am back in the swing of blogging regularly so expect more outfits coming up!

This skirt is from Topshop roughly 5 years ago, I love the blue pattern on it especially with quite plain pieces. I teamed the skirt with my fluffy H&M jumper from last year which has seen me through 2 winters, I wish I'd picked it up in other colour. A beautiful pastel pink or cream would look amazing with jeans and Vans. I digress. New Look sale boots, Oasis Leather jacket and my Mango sale bag finished the look off and allowed me to look intensely into the distance of my window and the flats across the street. Oh the shots you get with 10 second self timer and 3 shots. I'm not important, it's my glad rags that are!

I actually really like this outfit and can definitely see me wearing this skirt right into the summer time even though it is a size 14 and hasn't been worn since I fitted into that size but I think even on a size 10 body it still works well. It's too pretty a print to chill in my wardrobe!

Simple Summer.

The Zara skort - that is skirt, shorts - is all over the blogging world this summer, literally everyone & their auntie has this little baby. Understandably, it is comfort personified. Perfect for a summer day sunbathing in the park. Everything else was kept simple, too hot for fussy clothes. So I opted for a simple linen tank courtesy of H&M with a turquoise beaded necklace also from H&M. My New Look sandals & finally my Zara shopping basket.

I have been wearing no eye make up these last few days due to eczema flaring up on my eye lids, no one likes swollen eye lids, so it has just been mascara for me. I actually quite like the look of it plus it is so much quicker to get ready in the morning!

Happy Friday!

White.

I love this sun dress from H&M. It is so versatile and was only £19.99! It is a little more girly than I would normally gravitate towards but whenever I wear it, I feel good in it... never a bad thing!

Seen as it is exceptionally balmy for this Scottish girl who isn't used to this gorgeous heat a sundress, sandals & simple accessories was a must.

Black & Orange.

Before finishing university & giving up my very central city centre flat, one last night on the town was required.  So that is what we did! I decided to wear my H&M Leather skirt back to front (zip up the back), my ASOS cami and my H&M orange clutch - for a little pop of colour. The wore my strappy New Look heels which by the end of the night were a killer but they looked nice so needs must.

Linen, Leather & Suede

This outfit is from a few weeks ago before I moved into my new flat so excuse the mess in the background! Between finishing uni and preparing to move flat it was all a bit of a bomb site...

This outfit is just a simple casual outfit I wore to run some errands. Nothing too exciting but I think the mix of textures adds some interest without having to go too crazy with accessories or colours. My hair is such a mess in the photographs, growing out a pixie cut is tough! Once it passes the awkard stage hopefully it won't be too bad...

Red Nails, Monochrome Pants.

I wore this outfit for quite an exciting meeting I had this morning hopefully more of which I can divulge soon but for now I will show you what I wore! I love a monochromatic outfit with a pop of colour on the nails. It just feels so classy and chic.

I wanted to present myself as a put together and professional - not a slobby slob! These trousers were an H&M sale find that when I saw them I had to have. Reduced from £24.99 to £10, it was too good to resist really. They are a beautiful light fabric that is perfect for summer time and being a simple white with black print they go with pretty much anything. I am hunting down an orange tshirt/top to really set the print off.

Today I teamed them with a simple black linen tank also from H&M, my River Island watch and black pointy toe heels also H&M! Love H&M these days. I added my little pop of colour with Maybeline Colour Show nail polish in 341 Orange Attack. This colour is so beautiful for summer, with a tan and a pretty sun dress. Be gawjus dahling!

Courts free.

Since finishing university I have used the 'you worked hard at uni, you deserve a treat' excuse too many times. I will hold my hands up and admit that. On a recent trip to Zara Glasgow I couldn't say no to these gorgeous white skirt-shorts. I have seen them on a few bloggers & love the look they give - put together but not too fussy. At £23.99 they are a bargain & will go with so much for day or night!

How bloggers have worn it...

I love seeing how other style a piece which is part of the reason for my love for the fashion blogging community. This said I had a quick Google of the Zara skirt short - actually what I googled and selected a few for a little montage. Everyone loves a montage, no?

 photo PicMonkeyCollage-1_zps4e5fe0b1.png

Hopefully the weather perks up a little so I can actually wear this - these?! - little beauty soon.

PS ... courts free is in reference to the belief that this looks a bit like a tennis skirt!

Nice day for a white wedding.

Some random shots from the day but this is my wedding outfit from my friends wedding. How beautiful does she look?!

Back to me... I wanted to wear a put together dinner suit to the wedding rather than a dress which meant that apart from the men - obviously - I was the only one in a suit! I kept it all black with some rose gold pointy toed heeled from Topshop - bargain sale buy last summer - a black beaded clutch and some cobalt blue H&M sparkly earrings. Layers of fake tan, lashings of eye liner and I was ready to celebrate the holy matrimony!

Rock & Roll my little girl

I used to wear jean shorts all the time but recently well since about October I wear them very rarely. It is a bit of a waste really seen as I have six or so pairs...

Que an afternoon in the Arctic conditions of the library & a need for layers to keep warm. The perfect time to wear my much loved black 'fluffy' jumper from H&M with some extra cosy tights (two pairs, naturally) & these lace detailed Zara shorts, bought last summer on a whim. They are pretty short shorts or my buttocks is on the fuller side ... I guess it is a mix of both. Shapely derrieres are so in, ya know!!

I am beyond fed up of library trips, uni has been an amazing experience. One that I have loved but to not have deadlines looming will be a treat & a half! I know I will pine for uni days constantly when it finally comes to a close but for now that shiny big bad world is calling my name...

Looking back on the photographs, this tshirt probably isn't the most flattering. I mean it covers my waist - my smallest part - but sometimes a baggy tshirt is what my body calls for. It isn't overly baggy, I liked it even if it makes me look a bit shapeless. Worse things have happened!

I have really gotten into lipstick recently, I figured a coral lip would dress this outfit up a little even if I did have to use a pink lipliner... amateur. These boots are in the bad books at the moment. Seeing as stone cold sober, I fell over in the middle of the street?! Hello ripped favourite trousers. I don't know what happened to them, they are normally fine but this time they were really slide-y on basically any floor?! Weird.

Casual

Super casual look for an afternoon in the library... story of my life!

I love my (knock off) Disco pants, they are so comfy & go with so much. I've worn them on nights out with fancy stuff & during the day with big cardigans & plimsoles.  This Topshop cami was bought with an exchange, I went for purple as I am trying to wear less black... good work moving away from all black. Dark Purple.

Coat, Cardigan & Cami: Topshop

Disco Pants: River Island
Tennis pumps: Fred Perry - very old, don't think they make these anymore

Re-trench

 photo PicMonkeyCollage-1_zps4b007f92.jpg

I wore this for uni & shopping one day but looking back on it, I'm not sure how I feel about it. I feel very Caroline Flack in it... ankle boots, collared shirt & trench coat. This Topshop swing hemmed coat was an impulse buy about 4 years ago, I had not worn it in a long, long time but decided to pull it out. I love trench coats *dreams of a Burberry* they are so classic & perfect to wear anytime.

Trench coat: Topshop - So old, it's vintage ;)

Wedding Planning

My friend is getting married on the 29th of March, I thought it was the 29th of April but that is by-the-by, que panic. I don't want to go crazy buying  a whole new outfit, as much as I would love too but there are so many pieces I've bought & never worn so I picked two that will form the start of my wedding outfit. My Zara Velvet dinner jacket & my Rose gold Topshop heels - never worn...

The shoes have been waiting for their premiere into the world since last summer so I think now is the time. I am thinking either black tuxedo pants or a nice bright printed pair with a cream camisole, sparkly bag & possibly some earrings. What would you wear them with? What would you wear to a wedding?

It feels like all I am doing the last week or so is get up, go to the library, come home, go to bed, get up, go to the library, come home... you catch my drift! This is my library outfit from today, pretty simple as there is nothing worse than being uncomfortable while chuffing through piles of literature that you have to review! These velvet shorts from Tophop were such a good sale buy, I've worn them so much during the day & at night.  I wore them with a simple black tshirt from H&M with my gold River Island watch & a few different gold rings. I wore my EBay find Safaria jacket, Topshop fur gilet & Topshop boots. Pretty simple.

I have been finding it hard to find time to blog recently as I've been so busy but I am trying hard to make time for it as I miss doing it.

Split to the thigh

First off apologies for the poor photograph but this is literally the only full length picture from the night! This side split maxi skirt is literally my favourite thing I've bought recently, I got it in the Topshop sale for £10 - half price! - the side splits got up to just off the top of my thigh so of course the Angelina leg had to come out at some point! Be rude not too. I wore it with my ASOS polo necked cropped top, some New Look Ankle Boots that have exposed zips & it isn't picture but an bright blue clutch for a little pop of colour.

I cannot wait for the weather to get a little warmer so I can wear this skirt dressed down with some plimsoles & my safari jacket or some sandals & a crop top. Come on Spring/Summer!

Finally I am back with a post featuring pictures I actually took! Life just got busy recently and blogging fell to the bottom of the list for a little while.

On Tuesday night I went to see Paloma Faith which was amazing. Her voice is unbelievable. Truly truly stunning. I wanted to get a little dressed up, it is Paloma Faith after all, but not overly dressed up so I went for my Velvet suit. Caroline Flack suit is also another name for this one. I got the Zara Velvet blazer for Christmas  & the shorts in the Topshop sale. The quality in the velvet differs greatly but to the eye you can't tell at all. With a simple black cami from ASOS, some New Look shoe boots & my little Topshop bag I was good to go. If you ever get the chance to see Paloma Faith live GO!

Style Crush #23

I took notice of this day when I saw Josie Loves Shoes post about her style & the love affair began! Donna Wallace is Elle UK's Accessories Editor which obviously means this lady is an eye for the pretty things in life. So here are a few of my favourite looks ...
